VNSNY’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19

We are in this together, and together, we will stand strong.

VNSNY has been on the front lines of every major health care crisis in New York for over 128 years, and our services will continue to be critical to New York City throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we face this challenge with you, we are committed to:

Caring for Our Patients and Staff

VNSNY continues to deliver care—every day—to the vulnerable New Yorkers who depend on us, including those with COVID-19, to make sure they safely receive the care they need.

Supporting Our
Community

We care for patients and plan members in their homes and the community, so they can live safely and independently.

Protecting Our
Future

VNSNY’s commitment to caring is matched every day by New Yorkers’ strength and resilience. We’ve seen the positive results from working together to fight this deadly disease—and we’re committed to moving forward to ensure access to quality care for all.

Staff Vaccinations

VNSNY has provided over 9,000 vaccinations through its COVID vaccination clinic, and has been chosen to team up with the New York City Department of Health to administer in-home vaccinations to thousands of homebound New Yorkers.

Thanking VNSNY Frontline Responders

We are in this together, and together we will stand strong.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a once-in-a-lifetime global crisis—and in times of crisis, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York is quick to mobilize to protect society’s most vulnerable. For both COVID-positive and non-COVID patients in these challenging times, VNSNY’s 13,000+ courageous workers have been hard at work delivering care in the place people most want to be: their homes.

VNSNY frontline workers are in this together, and together we will stand strong for New York. During COVID, home care has been the bridge that makes it possible for patients who were seriously ill in the ICU to transition back home, where they can continue to steadily recover their health and return to their lives.
